vocal warm-ups
If you aren’t at all warmed up, start with bubble lips, then go into sirens up and down. If you’re working hard on mixed voice/getting rid of an audible break, do slow sirens until you feel you can negotiate it smoothly (then speed up). If you’re still new to using head voice, make sure to spend a good amount of time on songs that use it, so you can develop those muscles.

The following playlists are suggested songs for you to choose from, if you aren’t sure what to sing next (don’t feel limited by them). Each one has a different theme: Disney, Broadway, Great Singers, Male Contemporary, Female Contemporary, Jazz Standards. I’ll be adding to these lists as time goes by. A lot of the songs you’re all learning are on these lists, so it might be fun to get a taste of what others are doing.
I’ll be adding a lot of new backing tracks here shortly; these particular songs are ones where I own the recording, making it a lot easier to upload those covers to YouTube. Feel free to look up any songs we’re learning on YouTube as well (sing2piano and sing2guitar are two that allow us to upload covers to YouTube with thier tracks). You can always message me on Facebook and I can send you any links you’ll need.
